I got him when he was 9 months, he was already potty trained, and very well mannered. My younger one is a girl, and is 4 months old. Her name is Roxy. I have read a lot of people having challenges when trying to train Yorkies, but I have been blessed that she is not quite as stubborn as I was expecting, but some days I wish it was easier. She is getting better at the potty training, but sometimes she just doesn't want to care it seems. Is there any helpful hints on training her?.
Also, we just had Gordon's hair cut because his hair was long compared to her, and he looked like a 'rag-a-muffin'. Well now, that his hair is cut, hers looks so long!.. Lol. What is the normal age for them to get their first haircut? Thanks ahead of time for any or all responses
Welcome Crystal!! Same with Miles, most times he is pretty good about potty training and other days he just wants to do it his way!! I think it's the nature of the breed. I don't think they will ever be potty trained like the larger breeds simply because of their small bladders. I don't mind cleaning up a little pee pee once in a while. I used to have cats so I am familiar with the whole litter box / paper traing thing.
