That would sure help the poor girl and shorten the time spent in the crate. Does Lady jump a lot...when she is well? If so, they should probably try to limit that as that can be hard on the back and knees. Best wishes for a speedy recovery!
Thank you so much. It is very exciting that she was actually walking less than 24 hrs after that surgery. I will mention what your daughter did with her Yorkie to my son. I am sure they will not want Lady stuck in a crate, although I know they will keep her right with them even if she is/has to be. I offered a large carry kennel as well...to keep her from too much movement during trips to the vet, etc. At this point, he thinks maybe just taking her in the wire crate will work. I will find out more tomorrow. I am guessing there will be instructions...

Yes, Lady is very bouncy. She was a walk-up...a stray...and they could not find an owner who claimed her. They think she is a Dachshund/Jack Russell mix...she has the energy of a JR...and her muzzle resembles a JR's.

My son was talking about putting stairs for her for getting on/off the bed, sofas, etc. so she won't jump anymore. I will know more soon. Thank you so much.
