not a breeder Well, I am not a breeder but have had Silk in the paper for sale today. BTW, I am keeping her. Anyway, this one lady called and wanted to buy her for her two year old child. As soon as she told me this, I said,"Sorry, I do not sell my yorkies (like I'm a bigtime breeder LOL) to families with small children," Then she's like, well my mother has one and he isn't rough with it. I told her my grandchildren are three and five and they don't even get around my yorkies. It is just too dangerous for the little ones to fall on them. She was royally pi$%$% and hung up. Then I had another dorkie person call and she wanted to know if she is a "yorkie, yorkie" or a "yorkshire terrier". I had to tell her they are the same from the way she decribed another dog it sounded like someone had maybe tried to sell her a Silky or a half yorkie. Then I had a nice lady that wanted her for her widowed mother so i told her I would let her know Monday. But since I posted last night, Silk has had almost a complete turnaround. She chased ceeby about five feet several times today and is barkibng and everything but she is still on the couch. She has been out several times today and played just a little. But, today has been a lesson in people for me when I do start breeding. |
