The bone fragments probably caused her some tummy distress, and animals nearly always associate the food that they have been eating with the distress. Even a smell from the old food may send distress signals to the brain. I think I would try and find a different food for Macie, I don't know anything about Ultra so I can't comment, but it doesn't sound like you think it's good. I think I'd let her eat it for a few weeks and give her system a chance to heal. Also, it you want to tempt them to eat a new food, Nutri-cal is mainly sugar, it's not strong enough smelling to really tempt them, and they will most likely just lick it off their food. Try sprinkling a little Parmesan cheese on the food that often works, however, I doubt if it will work with her old food, she’s probably associates it with being sick.
