Looking at it from both sides, when I was looking for my babies, when I called I introduced myself, also told about life style..no kids and such.then asked about thier puppies, asked about the size of parents, did they own both, told them up front I didnt want a lilttle sicky, that I wanted it to be akc standard, then asked about the price, told them upfront that price was not the real issue, but was it what I was looking for..if it was more than I had in mind and I really liked what I heard..I asked if it would be possiable to visit.when I fell in love, then I had to descide if I could pull up that much cash and still have money for all of babys health needs..on my female she was more than I had,so I asked how often the parents were bred..I actually waited for the next female to have pups, giving me the extra time to raise the money,no I have not ever been sorry I waited, and I am so please with both of the babys..now as one who has had pups,I will say upfront that my babies start at $1,000 and if they would like to see the baby I will set up an appointment..its funny how that gets rid of the rubbish calls, kinda gives them an upfront..but I have had people show up,but I didn't let them take a puppy..gut feeling..I also lied because I didn't like them, said after they called the vet called about the results of the liver function test.."its not good" and ushered them out the door |
