I would think that it could work for your Buster since it says on the website that helps with anxiety and sounds like Buster has that. I'm not an expert, but I'm a doggie momma and we have that dog owners sense ( ya know, lol) and I would use it for that type of issue too....I ordered Chiquis thundershirt earlier, I couldn't wait another day I hope this helps him
