My Roxie has an open fontanel that the breeder told me about. I decided to take her and she is 4 now and hasn't had any problems but there are no guarantees. Roxie's closed a little more by the age of one, but not completely. I keep her bow over the spot just to give a little extra protection. I would see what your vet says. It's hard to walk away but a sick puppy can be a heartbreaking experience. |
