Try to find a vet that has recently graduated from school. Like within the past 4 or 5 years. They have a lot more knowledge on new technology and diseases that you should be aware of. And they're typically a lot more knowledgable about breeds. I take Bouncer to a younger doctor who graduated a few years ago and he is WONDERFUL!
