Our snow's slowly melting, but I haven't seen any flowers yet. I work at a newspaper, and I overheard the photo editor talking to a photographer the other day. He'd gotten an assignment to photograph some wildflowers that were popping up in town. But he couldn't find them. He spent what must have been an hour driving around town looking for these first flowers of spring, and I don't think he ever got a picture. |
First one is a Lilac, second is a daffodil and third...your guess is as good as mine. LOL
I actually have a voodoo lily preparing to bloom right now, can't wait until it opens so I can hold my breath (they are also called a corpse flower) and get a pic. Right now it is 3' 4", and still growing, they can get over five feet tall. Of course the temp is supposed to drop tonight, so hope it doesn't get to it....
Little Miss Paisley has become quite the little model for me, well at least she is resigned to the fact that she must remain there until I am finished. LOL
Brooklyn (the maltese) must have had her pic taken an awful lot in the past too, she had the same attitude as Paisley.
