Callie hurt her leg and was walking around limping one time and we rushed her to the er vet she was walking fine at the vet and xrays showed nothing so we went to our vet the next day. My vet said dogs adrenaline goes up when they are at the vet and can mask any pain and she felt around Callie's leg even though Callie was not limping and found the spot that hurt and Callie cried we ended up having to go to a orthopedic specialist and they had to do xrays when she was sedated to get different views of it and it turned out to be when she was jumping off of things and landing her leg was over extending and hurting. So I hope you didn't just go by how the pup was acting there and still got some test done and got him checked out very well by the vet.
