The mesh bag is a good idea. One of my Boxers got a hold of one of Max's toys and needless to say there was yucky slobber and dirt all over it. I washed it in the sink with dawn soap. When it dried, it smelled like a soured old sock
so I tossed it. Toys are not cheap either. I am curious to see what everyone says
