Yes, as soon as she was diagnosed my brother-in-law spread a bleach solution over our front and back yards. Also we'll not allow any dog come into our home and yard that do not have their updated vaccinations for parvo. Also our vet is going to give Sophie her distemper vaccination a week after she's fully recovered from parvo. I've been told it takes 7 years for the virus to clear from the soil.
