Wow.........they do pick up everything they see on the floor don't they? I can beat that..............my
Chihuahua is on heart medication. One day when I was giving him his pill (which I wrap in a tiny piece of cheese) it fell on the floor and Rylee swooped right in and ate it!!!! I was horrified and scared.........called the vet and they said just to watch her that she would probably be fine. It turned out she had no reaction at all (at least that I could notice) and was just fine. She pickes up multch in the backyard all the time and has even picked up coins and batteries that she has found on the floor! 
They do keep us on our toes doen't they???? I'm sure she IS happy with her snack though!!!!
