 I think I understand now
When I first started thinking about getting a yorkie I did not understand why it was best to wait until 12 weeks or older. I got my bichon, Kirby at 6 weeks old eight years ago. Khloe is much older and has better puppy manners. Khole is not nipping at our fingers and toes. We are having less trouble getting her to potty outside. She understands about walking on her leash. She has had 3 sets of shots. At first I was concerned about missing out on those early puppy days (my new little girl will be 16 weeks old on this weekend) but now I understand. Khole is not a perfect puppy but she is a wonderful little girl. She even knows when to let Kirby have her space. There is no snapping and growling between my girls. |
