Yes, the vet is right. I have lots of dogs visit and just use the Nature's Miracle on the spots, it's really great it gets out the mark even on light colored fabrics. It's best not to wash the item before you spray and let dry. Your dog is just putting his mark on these items, he’s wants his scent on their clothing, maybe that’s his way of saying that they belong here too. I don’t know exactly what a dog is saying when he marks on something, but from my reading, it’s not a bad thing, like if a human were to pee on your clothing. Sometimes we need to accept them for their doggieness and just have a large bottle of Natures Miracle on hand!
