I would just want to warn new puppy owners that many of the blue backed pads sold on ebay and other discount places do not have the attractant on it that the commercial brands have. They are the same type of pad used in hospitals to help keep beds dry.
You can buy a liquid attractant to put on these pads to help attract the puppy to that place to pee. It can also be used on the washable pads. I think one of the keys to training puppies to use pee pads is to have the attractant there to attract the puppy to the correct place to potty. It can be done without it but I have found the process much quicker when using the attractant. |
