I will say this..

They have to think of all of their customers. You deal with people who do not have boundaries, (or their children) will touch the dog. Since the laws are in place where owners should have control of their dogs, the liability with fall on the owner IF something will happen. The stores will have some liability also and they have to protect themselves.

I do not take offense if I am asked not to bring Corky in stores. Most of the places here only allow dogs if are only allowed outside; So he stays home.
