Thank you all for your concerns - it was such a scary day for everyone - tragic for some. I was kind of lazy so far this year and hadn't my whole kit ready but in about 10 minutes, I had most of it ready. Forgot the house and car insurance policies and Tibbe's health records as they are presently in a safe in the garage so I have to remember to get those next bad weather episode. Tibbe's collared with ID's, rabies tag when he goes out the front door, company comes or we have storms and my phone numbers are on the collar and he's chipped of course.

I've looked outside and though my radar showed two intense areas of rotation passing over my house, we have no damage in the yard or surrounding neighborhood that I can see. I think each tornado had pulled off the ground when they approached us but my neighborhood Doppler definitely showed two different passes of intense rotation - the same levels as where a lot of damage was done when the tornado was touching down. Whew!
