I don't have much experience with this yet, but Yumi gets car sick too. From what I've read so far it sounds like it can get better as they get older, but some dogs never get over it. I think you can use motion sickness medications on them, but I don't know anything about the dosage, or what age they're safe for. I also read cracking the car window can help.

I know from experience that looking out the side windows can actually make motion sickness in humans worse, as can closing your eyes. I would think it would be the same for dogs. That said I'm not sure if it would be better in the taxi or out, guess it'll depend where they look.
