We painted the entire outside (hardi plank) and inside (I did about 80% of this part myself - inside and outside!), laid the wood and tile floors, the painting included all of the cabinets too - the office has stained wood, the rest painted. We also built the fireplace hearth and tiled all the kitchen backsplash AND my husband (along with his BIL, an electrician) did all the electric. Then we put in the water sprinkler and all the landscaping AND my husband completely put up the 1500 sq ft metal building that he uses for his body/paint shop. QUITE a tough year but so worth it! Have fun with it and it will go great!
That sounds like hard work, but I'm sure it was completely worth it! I bet you're extra proud of your home seeing that you did so much of the work yourselves
