Tibbe just roused himself and demanded to go outside in the thunder and rain, came in, had his lunch late and has curled up beside my hip on the couch. He slept through all my preparations and the power outages, the eerie stillnesses, the horrible thunder and lightening and hard rain as if he were drugged! He usually spends rainy days sleeping but I thought with all that was going on and how loud the storm and sirens and roaring sounds were, he might wake and get scared like I was beginning to get.
