She does have us trained.
She has been doing this since we brought her into the family. I do try to buy toys now that will not go under the couch, but she likes this game so well she will always go for the toys/treats that will fit. Sometimes she is so adamat about it. We'll look and look and finally find a little kibble under there that she has hidden. When we brought her home and she only weighed 1 pound we would find her halfway under the couch before we realized she was after something. Now she will paw and bark to get us to get it. Luckily, she has not damaged our couch yet.
