I can't remember, but did the vet do a smear or culture for the infections? You prob treated the infections w/ prescriptions, but sometimes it helps to try different ones. Wylie had recurrent ear infections...but for him, it turned out to be caused by undiagnosed Cushings. The ear ointment that really seemed to stop his infections was an ointment that worked on both bacteria and fungus.

I don't have any ear cleaning stuff, but it looks like other have good suggestions.
