Ok, well the surgeon couldn't see us today because he is in surgery all day. So, I contacted Alex's pediatrician (whom I trust with all my heart) and asked him to see us. Of course, he agreed. He thinks there is still an infection and put Alex on another round of antibiotics. In addition, he also feels like there is some fluid build up which is causing the area to swell. Needless to say, we are back to seeing the surgeon. Alex has an appointment at 10:30 and we will know more then. The pediatrician seems to think it will need to be drained or packed. Oh Lord we just want this to end.
My poor baby has been through it with this knee. Continued prayers are greatly appreciated.
