Hershey was only 3, so young which makes this even harder.
There wasn't anything he could have gotten into, we are super careful about that. And he had no injuries. Our best guess is he died from an underlying health problem or died from too much stress (separation anxiety) if that is possible.
I felt something was off with him, I should have taken him to the vet. The past few days he became very cuddly and needy. But he was still eating, drinking, even playing like normal so I didn't think anything of it. We played ball with him, his favorite game, shortly before we left. I'd give anything to have him back again.
RIP Hershey, we miss you baby and will see you in heaven again someday. |
