I watched the video...it is great....I was taught to use 2 clamps....1st clamp goes right where you want the tail length to be, the second clamp goes right up next to the 1st clamp, on the side of the tail that is going to come off....and then you put your index finger in the finger hole of the second clamp, and you can rotate that second clamp like an airlplane propeller and the tail comes off! A bit of consolation....remember, nerve development starts at the head and works down to the end of the tail...this is why you do it 5 days or less...the nerves have not completely developed down the tail and it doesnt hurt so much....THE SMALL HEMOSTATS ARE CALLED "MOSQUITOS" OR "MOSQUITO CLAMPS" for those who are buying them from surgical supply...that is the size I use.
