OMG!!! I am so sorry for your loss and your mom's!!!
Was he an elderly dog?? Will you have a necropsy done?? Did you contact a vet about this?? I know I would die if I came home and found Miles like that. Maybe your can get her another puppy? I know it won't "replace" Hershey but it will help her recover from her loss and hopefully keep up her spirits.
