We added a second almost two years ago (wow, how time flies!) and I wouldn't go back. My two enjoy eachother so much, I couldn't imagine them not having eachother. My two play together, but they definitely don't completely entertain eachother. They still need me for love and I still have my little magnet (Couver).
I would say go for it if you can afford the vet bills
