My little girl is almost 2 now and weighs 2lbs even. I'd been thinking of getting her a friend to play with but just haven't really made the leap yet.

Tonight, my breeder called me. She just so happens to have another 2.5lb girl that was brought back to her because the people that originally adopted her had a change in circumstances (whatever that means) and can't keep her. She's offering the dog to me first because she know how spoiled and cared for my Gabby is.

My question (before I make the leap)...
Is another dog half the work or twice the work? Gabby does enjoy playing with her fellow yorkie friends and she is kinda attached to our hips. I've always thought she'd love to have a dog of her own but just haven't been ready to do the puppy thing again. With this girl that's being offered to me, the puppy stuff is behind us already.

Anyway, I figured the best place to ask this question would be those with the experience of more than one. So what made you decide to get another dog?
