I personally wouldn't be too worried, but it’s always best to call the vet. Many people recommend giving a tablespoon of canned pumpkin (not the pie filling) at each meal until the foreign object passes. It has a lot of fiber and can help digestion go faster. Things to look out for are vomiting and no bowel movements, if either occur it could mean an intestinal obstruction and your dog would need to be seen by a vet a.s.a.p.

How big a piece of foil was it? I'd be a little worried about the cheese as well, it's so high in fat. Joey only gets a tiny piece of low fat cheese now and then.
