The only way to know size is to get an adult. The best way to get a healthy pup is to make sure you are getting one from a good breeder who has the parents health checked, make sure the parents are LP free, dosent let the pups go before 12 weeks, let's you see both parents, let's you see where the parents live and pups are being raised. There are a lot of puppy mills out there so be careful and stay away from people who advertise teacups, micros and words like that, stay away from people who breed many different types and breeds mixes also stay away from people who want to meet you somewhere and that keep there dogs in out buildings. You might want to look into how much it's going to cost to own a dog before getting one as well. Good luck and I hope everything goes well for you.
