OP, I checked with an RN friend of mine about dissolving medication and using a syringe to administer it. She said you SHOULD NEVER do something like this without talking to your vet. Further, she said that compounding of medications should be ONLY be done by a PHARMACIST to ensure that dog is getting the proper amount of medications. Please do not do what has been suggested to you because you might overdose your dog.
