In our county the area vets volunteer and set up at different schools a couple of Saturdays in the spring and fall for a low cost Rabies clinic. There are so many people in our area that live in poverty that this is the only way they can get their pets Rabies shots. I am pretty sure that they only do Rabies and not any other vaccines because my DIL volunteers to help out when the vet she works for is doing one of the clinics.
Maybe this was something like that. It seems they could have found a better location than by the side of a busy road. |
