I see no harm in calling them and saying something. Like I said it is all how you say it- " BF and I will be coming do you mind making sure nothing is on the floor.... or I can help you clean up... something like that. |
I agree with you, but it is the BF's family, I do think saying, "Make sure everything is picked up," sounds nicer than “Vacuum your house!”
