Yes- We have always lived in apt/condo so I trained him on pads. Then we bought a house last year and I started to train him outside- He KNOWS where to go he just doesnt LOL. When it rains I have to put a pad down because he wont go when its wet outside!
Also he loves to pee on rugs/bathroom rugs -
