I know exactly what you are going through because i am going through the same thing with my mom. I just had to move my mom last weekend from assisted liveing where she had lived for the past 2 yrs to the health care side due to her falling and being confused. She is not a happy camper right now because they won't let her walk unassisted, even though she thinks she is better she is still unsteady on her feet. I also know the feeling of loseing my best friend, my mom and i have always been very close, i can't begin to tell you how many tears i have cried in the past 5 yrs since mom started to decline. My mom will be 77 yrs old on 4-26 so she is still very young and did not get to enjoy her retirement yrs as she had planned.
