Dog shampoo is formulated specially because human shampoo has too strong of a pH for a doggys skin. You should look around some, there are dog shampoos that smell soo yummy it tempts ME to use THEIRS!
However, my breeder had been using a lavender human baby shampoo on her puppies because it is very gentle. Also, a yorkie probably needs to be bathed a little more frequently than once a month
