I hope no one takes this the wrong way, but since he isn't fixed, how can you be sure that someone wouldn't want to use him to breed? Mixed breed breeders could care less if he doesn’t have papers, and even a lot of purebred breeders are switching to paper registries where no proof is needed of bloodlines. When breeders rehome one of their breeding dogs, they often charge for neutering and a dental, and get it done before the dog is placed, this is really the only way you can be sure that the dog will get these things done. You recoup the costs by charging for the dog, this way you know the prospective owners want a dog as a pet, and can afford routine care. Best of luck with his placement. |
