I did shave his ears last night as they started to fall again , and cut very close on his tummy and always use lots of conditioner and let it sit on him for a bit.. i'm adding a picture of his mom and dad as well  |
Sounds like you are doing everything right, it's amazing how much they change the first couple of years. Cotton coats grow out and they actually grow faster than silk coats, however they are so much work and the cotton isn't as strong a hair as the silk, so it breaks off easier. Silky coats are slow growing, but so much easier to maintain.
