This reminds me of Joey at that age, he's head hair was silver with black tips and he looked like he was balding, but his hair just matched his scalp so well. He also was greasy looking, but around 11 months of age, his hair turned from silver to beige and gradually became more golden. His body hair is very silky now, but as a puppy he did tangle and mat especially under his arms when he wore clothes. I love his hair now, never mats in the least, my foster has a mixture of silky and cotton hair and he tangles quite a bit, so much harder to care for. I think Bentley will have Silky hair as an adult, and he's a little darling! One tip is to keep his belly shaved and use extra conditioner in the areas he's prone to matting.
