well you need to be really careful when giving topical flea & tick treatments.
For any size dog it could cause reactions but for a tiny yorkie it could be more serious.
They do sell a "revolution" topical that comes in a puppy dosage for 0-5 pounds. Ask your vet about this...
Revolutioin is for fleas & ticks as well as heartworm...
