Barney could use some YT prayers. Tomorrow marks 8 weeks post surgery for a repair of a torn ligament, cartilage and repair of his patellar luxation. He has been doing amazingly well until three days ago. He is now toe-touching lame on the hind leg. He cannot walk on all four limbs, and it's terrible.

He saw the surgeon today, and at this point, the surgery is not a failure, but it is at risk of failure because he has loosened the repair. We are hoping it is a setback. He is on bed rest and metacam for two weeks and we will reassess.

It is what it is, but we are praying that he will not need to have a repeat surgery. The surgeon said I should not panic yet. Too late, I'm panicking. The poor guy even came back out to the waiting room with his doctor bag and models to talk to me some more because I was so upset. The doctor promised me before we leave the hospital, Barney will walk again.

My poor baby is just too old for this. I feel bad for him.
