I found urging Tibbe to run more when outside to potty would stimulate his #2 faster than if he were just outside sniffing around and taking his time. After his immediate #1, it would take him anywhere from 5 - 20 minutes to get to Part Deux. I decided I was going to have to stimulate his bowel more so I would toss a ball or toy around for his to chase and #2 started coming much faster than if just left to his own devices. And that's when I would treat him - only after #2.
