I'm just not willing to ever experience that again, and because no one ever even suggested it might be a problem, I haven't had any confidence in the safety of these things. I did think a wing torn apart might be safe, but even among the raw feeders there are so many disagreements. I will say the Bison back bones have gone well; they had them three times, and no problems. I’m kind of afraid of salmonella and with the bison back at least there’s no risk for that.
Lexie has never choked on a bone but i can only imagine how scary it must have been when it happened so i understand not wanting to go there again. Necks are slim and small and much easier to swallow in comparison to wings, so a pup that's new to raw probably won't know how to approach them at first.

What are the bison backs? are they raw?. I'm picturing a huge back and a tiny yorkie gnawing away lol
