Sorry but many Yorkies are turned into shelters by the owners and the Law is the Law. A government shelter is not allowed to change the rules just because it is a Purebred and wait 5 days. The law is the dog should have had a license on or at the least a micro-chip. And no they do not put all new dogs on medical hold only the sick ones.

This is just sad.
