I advise my puppy parents to start switching to the adult small breed kibble they are using I highly recomend two, Natures VAriety and Blue buffalo, when the puppys turn one year old, and yes, you must do it gradually, I am right now in the transition from Natures Variety Puppy to Blue Buffalo Puppy , for one of my new puppies, she is going home on blue because the family's other silky eats blue.. I just started the transition , she is eating 3/4 NV and 1/4 blue, by next week she will be in half NV and half blue, then 3/4 blue and 1/4 NV and finally the week she is going home she will be in all blue if everything goes well...
