Or have you considered getting a second opinion with a different vet? Or a internal medicine specialist? Does she get any treats before bedtime? How close to her bedtime is her dinner (last meal)?

I don't think you're over reacting... recurring vomiting of meals is a cause for concern and needs further investigation.
