I told her I had to put my Papillon down and it's been difficult. She actually took my hand and said a soft prayer, then said things will get better. That woman must be an angel because she has her daughter to take care of and grandkids she's raising, but she still has time for a stranger. I think those of you that have said kind words to me, a stranger, are like that lady. God bless you!
(I brought the girl back a treat and they were happy again). |
I teared up reading this post. What a wonderful woman to take time and speak with you. This gives me faith in humanity...
It sounds like Spicy had a wonderful life with you and you are an angel for taking her in. Her story makes me think of my foster... Abandoned at 12 years old by her family because her owner passed away. I know that if we do not find the perfect home for her, she will spend her last years living with us.
RIP Spicy
