I have a question to all of you who have had a pup/dog with liver shunt. Since this is what they are testing my little Bentley for I have been doing a lot of reading up on it. Although he does have SOME of the symptoms, he also had symptoms of seizures.
my question.......I had read( and told by the breeder) that he would have a seizure shortly after eating,.....this isn't happening....he is eating fine,,...,no diarrhea, vomiting, he is certainly NOT lethargic... and yes he is thin but, all the her puppies in his litter are thin,....being thin doesn't mean there is a problem. He isn't a big boy...very fine boned...Could somebody PLEASE give me some input on this as I am beside myself right now....for those of you who haven't read my former thread...yes he saw a vet yesterday and they did blood work...I will be getting the results some time today..
