You need bigger by about 1 1/2" . You want it to sit a little lower on the chest than a collar would sit, but not too long or it is dangerous. Jada's neck is 8 1/2" and her necklaces are 10". If you order the actual neck size the necklace wont fit. You have to allow for the toggle to have enough allowance to thread through the loop.
Excuse the messy beard...but this is the 10" on Jada's 8 1/2" neck
